This comes with the caveat that I have no idea what 10 year old girls like, and I sometimes give very odd presents;

Since the Pacific Islanders are the newest team in rugby, and they do love their rugby over that way, how about one of these?

This is why Mrs B doesn't let me buy presents . . .

Charing Cross , and you have one move left to avoid knip! Well played :=D: :=D: :=D: As I said I'm a bit rusty. [spoiler]I can either go into knip, leaving two moves for Arneb and a certain Mornington Crescent, or stay out of knip but keep on the Northern Line and leave a clear run to MC. Of course...

Perhaps if we include a commentary for our guests across the pond? We're at Finsbury Park: to go further out that line is a deadend; I can't retrace to Highbury without invoking the 1984 amendments but they would open up the Northern Line which I'm reluctant to do at this stage. So I change lines at...

Philip wrote:Invalid move, as Oval is only on the Northern Line, so Pimlico is unreachable. Very poor.

I will say Mornington Crescent in 2.

As stated, I used my free line change for coming out of rucksack. Oval to Stockwell, change line to the Victoria Line, to Pimlico.

I think it is right, it is certainly the film I meant. I haven't seen the second so didn't know Michael Caine is in both.

Which film did you think it was Teri?

You're up KOS.

Not to be confused with Milton Keynes;

Or even Maynard Keynes

That seemed a lot funnier inside my head.

Fair enough. Berlin is a great city. I have only been a couple of times and it changed so much between visits I'm not sure how it will look the next time.

To be honest I couldn't think whether he had been dead 10 years or was still alive. Ok, it is a two word title, the second word being the name of the living US president who is not Ford, Bush, Clinton or Bush. (In a couple of years this might be the living US president who is not Bush, Clinton, Bush...

I accept this, but why do you think western style democracy is the only stable form of government? It isn't, necessarily. Democracies can degenerate into an unstable form of mob rule without proper respect for limited government and individual rights. In contrast, Saddam's government was stable, bu...
