We have Trout Mask Replica on vinyl somewhere, I haven't listened to it in years. Bought in the late 70s/early 80s when we listened to psychadelia and it made sense.

This morning's train story: The Fife Circle runs clockwise and anti-clockwise, but all trains cross the Bridge and stop at Inverkeithing before the circle proper starts. So I sometimes get the anti-clockwise train, get off at Inverkeithing and get onto the following (5minutes later) clockwise train....

I didn't get Picasso until I went to an exhibition where they pointed out that he realised he couldn't compete with cameras for "realism" so started toi draw the essence of things. Not a big fan but at least it makes sense now.
