Don't worry KLA2, I don't know most of them.

Canada -v- Russia was the World Championship, and the celebrations lead to the russians being put off their flight due to drunkeness . . . Umm, did you change sports on us there? Anyway, that was an American airline, it doesn't take much to get kicked off of those. Yes, intruding on MM and KLA2's d...

It was simply the plethora of umlauts that did it. Honest. :D

I knew it was rugby. :D The US are in the middle of a programme to get college football players to take up rugby when they graduate. If they get that working the US will become very good very quickly. Canada -v- Russia was the World Championship, and the celebrations lead to the russians being put o...

For my post, I hope it is clear my body count there is all people, all causes. It was to me. For assassinated politicians, I guess it depends how far back you want to go. I went back to Palme as I could remember it; I had forgotten Mountbatten. It was more an observation that political assasination...

The only developed world politicians I can think of who have been assasinated in the last couple of decades are Olof Palme, Pim Fortuyn and Anna Lindh. Two Swedes and a Dutchman; unless Arizona has a liberal attitude to cannabis and donkey porn I don't really see a connection between the four. :D Fe...

I was surprised that they allowed someone who was as, well, alcohol-infused, as I was at that point to enter the cockpit, but they did. As long as you weren't as drunk as the pilot . . . Most European airlines seem to have cabin crew who are a mixture of gay men and overly made up youngish women. B...

We have Trout Mask Replica on vinyl somewhere, I haven't listened to it in years. Bought in the late 70s/early 80s when we listened to psychadelia and it made sense.

This morning's train story: The Fife Circle runs clockwise and anti-clockwise, but all trains cross the Bridge and stop at Inverkeithing before the circle proper starts.
