Oops, missed this post sorry. I got into cricket abit, watching entire test days, lazily lying on a couch with a beer. The first thing I ever watched in cricket, was the 22nd test cricket hat trick, by Dominic Cork - it started the moment I turned on the television. A much under-rated hobby watching...

There is no joy in being a starving artist. :D [lawyer mode] If you go ahead with this: Are you covered by his/her insurance if you make a mistake? What training will you receive? What are your job prospects at the end of it? Why is someone teaching you for nothing? How are they benefitting now? [/l...

Simply looking at the economics of it: 1. This will cost you money, not just the petrol money but the money you could be making while you are training. 2. Will the current fad for tattoos continue? I have no idea, but if it doesn't you will have spent time and money learning a skill which has a limi...

Ah, you and your Asian ladies. :D

I had forgotten they had a Korean-Canadian playing the wahine.

Hmmm, and the other bloke is Korean as well, I had assumed they were supposed to be native to the island.

Blimey, McGarrett is a digger as well. Thank FSM for the Caan boy.

Hawaii 50

I catch odd episodes of this, the new one. Are they really just making up the plot as they go along?

There are so many elements in the series that none get much in the way of depth. And could they really not find an Englishwoman to play the Englishwoman?

I have no problem with the dog but the other two don't fill me with confidence. The story writes itself and the film should end up as a shot for shot remake; if the attack scenes are good enough for George Lucas to copy . . .

There is a remake in the works, Stephen Fry is writing it, Peter Jackson directing. And the dog is called "Digger" . . .

There is a failed drugs test at the Women's WC, the one similarity with the men's game is that it will be written off as an unfortunate mis-understanding and a three month ban will follow rather than the "compulsory" two years. Then it will never be mentioned again.

Germany 2-1 Canada at the Womens' World Cup. I didn't see the game but watched most of the France - Nigeria game.

We'll draw a veil over the USA - Mexico game in the Gold Cup.
