Cold War Relations, anyone?

The American military historian, Sarah Paine, is giving extended interviews, or if you will, prompted lectures, on, well, everything since about the dawn of Imperialism to today. It is wonderful to listen to a thoughtful, knowledgeable, analytic yet totally accessible and comprehensible person talking without fuss, without self-aggrandizement, without grandstanding - and always in charge of educating the next generation of American (and, for that matter, NATO) officers. As long as there are people like her, not all is lost to the Trump idiocracy.

There is a section in which she describes her way of working (5 min long starting at about 40:00 min into the video), which is extremely endearing (I love her term of "half-court tennis").

I'd be very interested to hear from people who actually know their history what they think about her theses. Enjoy.
