This thread is for discussing global warming

Here is my first post:

A bus station is where a bus stops. A train station is where a train stops. On my desk, I have a work station.

If you are seeing an apparent paradox, that means you are missing something.

We studied the halocline(?) back in college.

We certainly are seeing unprecedented weather patterns in the mid atlantic with the grand parade of huge hurricanes this season.

And bless his little right wing heart, Rush Limbaugh is on the radio telling FLoridians that the hurricane warnings are just liberal creations, the storms never are as strong as predicted and never go where they say they will. SO ther you go, pull up a beach chair and watch the storm roll in.

Is he really? Most unwise of him. Possibly will get a bunch of right-wing voters killed in a swing state.

He should wait until after the storm passes before spouting stuff like this. Modified to suit the exact strength/trajectory, of course.

Yeah, if you hate science, making actual checkeable predictions is risky business.

But any way it turns out, he'll declare it Fay Knoose's fault anyway
