A Buick? A BUICK???

Postby Enzo » Fri Apr 20, 2018 9:43 pm

SO someone was visiting the home a couple days ago, parked their car in the circle out front. It was a Buick. It was one of those not quite SUV, not quite station wagon, like they all seem to be these days. Not a "car" as in sedan, and certainly not a coupe. Yet the thing had a racing stripe on the hood.

That's just wrong.

There were a few drivers who raced Regals and even LeSabres in NASCAR. I thought they had Grand Continentals in there, too, but I can't find any references on the internet.

That is wrong, I have no comment on it being a Buick but the stripe should be a criminal offence.
Get it up ye.

Which was a high-performance Regal package, from what I can tell. For some reason, I have it in my head that a college acquaintance of mine called his late 80's GM that looked a lot like a Monte Carlo a Grand Continental. So, that's probably why I'm not finding anything on the net.

Wiki's Regalpage.
