How would you react if you saw an alien face to face?

Have you seen a UFO?

How would you react if you saw an alien face to face?

Postby Diana30 » Wed Feb 22, 2006 5:57 pm

I think I would totally freeze and would not know what to say or what to do or I think I would run as fast as I can.......

How do you think you would react?

Flesh out the scenario a little more.

Where do we come face to face with him?

If it were at 3:00 AM and he was standing at the foot of my bed looking menacing, I'd probably freak out a bit.

On the other hand, if it was the middle of the afternoon and his flying saucer was broken down with a flat thruster in front of my house and he just wanted some help, well, I'd probably freak out about that too.

Okay, never mind. I guess the when and where aren't that important after all.

I'd check for the hidden cameras, people snickering, etc.

And you find neither...

Then what?

I would yell "He's coming right at me!" Then unload both barrels of an shotgun.

Really? You wouldn't worry about ruining the meat with all those pellets?

Ahem...

You have never had my alien steaks.

It's wonderful if you know what you're doing and don't rush it.

Okay, now I see why you think that.

Oh...

Good question...

Diana30?

I had assumed space aliens, but now I don't know.

I don't think I want to eat Mexicans... But there were a few times in my youth when, oh, never mind.

Fist thing I would do is poke it with a stick, it's a sure way to see if it's going to hurt you or not... :glp-poop:

If I wasn't going to hurt you but you started poking me with a stick, I might reconsider.

Yes, but if I poke you with a stick and you didn't, I would know for sure wouldn't I?

You would know something for sure either way. But the stick makes what you are going to learn be more likely to be unpleasant.

Who knows what their biochemistry would be like... odds are they'd be toxic to us and almost certainly vice versa. I wouldn't worry about alien microbes 'cuz if our oxygen didn't kill them they'd certainly not find us a compatible host. :D

If I saw a space alien I'd probably just freeze. Or run like hell to grab a camera quick before it disappears. If I saw an illegal alien I'd probably just avoid eye contact. :P

I posted this in the UFOs and Extraterrestrial Intelligence area. I thought that maybe it would very logical that I was referring to "Space Aliens".

I know, but I couldn't resist insinuating that Lance was serving up barbequed migrant farm workers :P

I suspect a space alien would most likely be here illegally.

Unless the scenario is that you work for whatever gummint department deals with immigration and the E.T. comes into the office to apply for a visa.

This would completely depend on the situation and what the alien looks like.

This alien I would back away from very quickly.
This alien I laugh at.
