I saw it and it is a really hard trick. First you get your mark, the TV station in this case, to pick the time and place. Then, a hour before the event, you call the FAA and get a winds aloft forecast. You have a friend with a few balloons set up a mile or two away. Then at the right time he releases the balloons (one or two at a time). Amazingly enough some will show up at the time you are calling them and everyone is looking
I would have like to redo that interview with the TV reporter showing some brains. Something like - thanks for meeting us here, we got this limo for you to take you to where we are all set up for the interview. I would have also brought a pair of binoclars to check out the UFO. I would have also asked the really stupid question "If you can call them, why can't they come closer so we can really see them?" :glp_(141):
If you really want to see more of these UFO go downwind from Disneyland in the late afternoon. These kids lose a lot of balloons at that park.
