Didn't David Copperfield make the Statue of Liberty disappear?

The Yahweh guy says all Las Vegas will be able to see one next week, so I guess we'll know more then.

True...

Yeah. I'm expecting a no-show, or nothing very spectacular.

I saw it and it is a really hard trick. First you get your mark, the TV station in this case, to pick the time and place. Then, a hour before the event, you call the FAA and get a winds aloft forecast. You have a friend with a few balloons set up a mile or two away. Then at the right time he releases the balloons (one or two at a time). Amazingly enough some will show up at the time you are calling them and everyone is looking

I would have like to redo that interview with the TV reporter showing some brains. Something like - thanks for meeting us here, we got this limo for you to take you to where we are all set up for the interview. I would have also brought a pair of binoclars to check out the UFO. I would have also asked the really stupid question "If you can call them, why can't they come closer so we can really see them?" :glp_(141):

If you really want to see more of these UFO go downwind from Disneyland in the late afternoon. These kids lose a lot of balloons at that park.

Hmmm... I'm as skeptical as the next guy but that was a pretty impressive trick IMHO. Bill EE's explanation makes a lot of sense. Next week might be interesting though.

Here's a link directly to the news video for anyone else interested in lookling.

I agree with Bill EE. If you REALLY want to make waves, command those UFO's to land right next to you. Going through all that trouble just to see a wobbly image of a far-off circular object for a couple seconds is a little, shall we say, suspect...

Isn't he really just summoning those weird Google anomalies?

I LOVE that anomaly. That thing looks to me like it is sitting right on the ground. I wonder if the owners of the houses covered by the 'object' will get a break with their property taxes?

To say the least. :)
I still await the compelling Exhibit A.

I'd love it more if someone would figure out what it is.

It shows up in at least two other images.

It could be something in a lower orbit, but that would only work if the areas in all three images were at the same latitude, which I haven't bothered to check.

Oh, I forgot, you're not a BABBer are you? There's a thread over there about these too. They have found many of the little buggers.
