Real evidence for spraying barium???

The presence of barium in the atmosphere is mainly due to SRMs.

What's an SRM?

As well as the sunset pink and green(ish) clouds we all see, there is another type of cloud that's more rare. Nacreous Clouds are one of the most beautiful sights you will ever see and even the photo shown in the link doesn't do them justice. Patches of gently moving opalesence weaving above any normal late sunset or early dawn clouds.

I've only ever seen them once and it was a brilliant display - I can well understand where stories of visions and angels come from, Dee could probably cook up anything out of them if she's seen them. More likely she has seen a sun dog form in a contrail cloud.

I would also hazzard that anyone staring at contrails in a bright sky for long periods would upset their eysight, especially if they are looking toward the sun. Her eyesight could well be shot.

There again - she could have scrambled egg for a brain 8)

I've seen thunderclouds with sulfur-colored underbellies. My dad and I were heading into town in the evening and off to the west, we could see it coming. Dark, ominous, and dark green and yellow in the middle. About thirty minutes later, we were pelted with baseball size hail.

I've also heard other stories pretty much describing the same thing. I've never heard of any connection between them and 'chemtrails,' however.

I've never followed the whole chemtrail thing. Could somebody please give me the short version of what the woo woos claim the purpose of them is?

Here is a site that says it all.

I'm afraid there is no short version. Chemtrails are given myriad powers depending on the woo woo who is explaining them to you.

Here's an interesting find.

According to this article a joint project between the Max Planck Institute and NASA was formed and carried out in order to study the low reaches of the magnetosphere.

On 17 March 1969, a barium cloud 1865 miles long, lasting some 20 minutes, and visible to the naked eye, formed at an altitude of 43,495.9 miles (69,999.87 kilometers)

(emphasis mine)

I'm going to do a little more digging. Hopefully, I can find out how much barium they used.

And if you could find an image that looks nothing like a "chemtrail", that would be fantastic. Of course, since we don't know exactly what chemtrails look like, what ever image you find they'll claim is what they were talking about all along.

Holy crap... That's way out beyond even the typical shuttle orbit. If I ever see that used as "proof" of a sinister, global plot to <whatever> the population, I'm going to "quit the Internet".

As I think about it, I think I remember that. I'd have been an innocent tot of 11 in September of '69 and living on Long Island, NY. They made a big deal about it for several days before hand and that night, everyone was watching.

IIRC, It looked like a big rainbow colored cloud.

Now just lie back and close your eyes and take a deep breath, Babb. Try to picture in your mind what this rainbow cloud reminded you of. Now can you tell me if the Ultra Violet color was on the top or was it on the bottom? Was that rainbow cloud long and thin with a silver tip? Now in your minds eye can you look closer at that silver tip and tell me if there is any kind of writing on it? Don't let these memories disturb you, you are perfectly safe, but if it does bother you to much we will continue this session at another time :D

The only thing I've been able to find on what a Barium cloud might look like is a little bitty image from this site.

Image

I think what you remember, Lance, was actually a failure which caused the payload to be released at a much lower altitude.
Four months later, on 24 September 1966, in a joint effort with the Max Planck Institut, NASA launched a four-stage Javelin sounding rocket from Wallops Island to check its canister-ejection technique, and on the next day, again from Wallops, launched a Nike Tomahawk rocket which released a mixture of barium and copper oxide. The second "shot" only reached 160 miles, whereas the desirable altitude for a barium cloud release was 3 to 5 earth radii. Nonetheless, the experiment was successful. For hundreds of miles up and down the Atlantic coast, three distinct clouds were visible. NASA and West German scientists photographed the clouds in an effort to track and measure electric fields and wind motions in the upper atmosphere

Of course, 160 miles is still much higher than where 'chemtrails' are said to be applied.

Looks to me like "High Barn Farm, Elworthy, Taunton, Somerset TA43PX, UK. tsepurdey@aol.com" is certifiable.

I'm a pilot. We don't spray barium to "enhance rado/radio reflectivity."

Don't need to! Works just fine by itself, whether we're flying over the "heavily sprayed" US or over the totally unsprayed South Pacific.
