Hitler was Baptized after Death in the Mormon Church

Is it okay to kill in the name of God? Can ethics, morals and technology peacefully co-exist?

No, he wasn't.

What's next?

The Protocols of the Elders of Zion?

Yeah, that's the kind of stuff they do.

I can't speak to the veracity of the Bill's links but the LDS have been causing problems in the UK by copying parish records and retrospectively baptising the dead into their church.

Theologically there is no basis for it working as their is no decision by the deceased but it keeps the LDS of the streets.

I stand corrected.
Apparently people are capable of believing in the concept of conversion after death.
Baptism for the dead.

I should have known better.

Involuntary. Baptism. After. Death.

Just when I thought religion could not get any more stupid ...

Then again, I am struck by an image of Hitler in Valhalla. Havin' a good time with his buddies.

Suddenly, "Ach! Vot is happening? How did I get to be here in hell??? It burns! Aaaaaaagh!"

{No offence intended by using implied accent.}

Hitler would NOT be in Valhalla. He was a Catholic. My ancestors wouldn't let some fuck like that in, other than to lick their boots before they raped him and pillaged Germany and Austria.

Fuck that Aryan bullshit - real Vikings would kick the collective Nazi ass, then drink their beer and look for more fun on a Saturday night.

Hitler is sitting in Hell, listening to the clock of eternity going "tick-tick-tick..."

He rises and says to the clock, "Ve haff vays of making you "tock."

(Thank you, I'll be here all week. Try the veal.)

Even if they do posthumous baptism, they surely did not do Hitler.. That is just the lastest BT anti-Mormon baloney. Next he will tell us Britney Spears is a Nazi.

I heard some Mormons don't believe in lead-free gasoline.

(maybe someone sees this coming...)

A guy decided to open a gas station that sold leaded gas to those who preferred it.

He is an Ethyl Mormon.

(Thank you, I had fun, it was a gas. Usually those jokes tank. But I like to get the mileage I can out of them. Had your fill? Time for me to fly the coupe.... etc...)

Or maybe they did:

Also among those baptized posthumously by the church, according to Radkey's research: Ghengis Khan, Joan of Arc, Adolf Hitler, Josef Stalin and Buddha.

They did.

We forget that lots of people once thought he was a great guy.

You folks should study more. You can get these verifications at any Mormon place of records.

Would you believe CNN?

Lots of people STILL think he's a great guy. That doesn't make it so, at any time in history.

Yes, lots of folks think he was a great guy. Most of them shave their heads and tatoo swaztikas on their arms, then go out looking for jews and negroes to beat up. There is a ringing endorsement if I ever heard one.

ANd of course in his day, a lot of people liked Hitler, mainly those who thought jews should be killed or at least exiled or turned into slave labor. And those who thought murduring POles and taking their land was cool. Another ringing endorsement.

Not really a big deal at all, the UK is fairly agnostic so the fact that eerily cheerful, clean cut young men in suits want to talk to you about god puts them at the nutter end of the spectrum straight away. I doubt most people could tell you much about them.

I had to google them to find out where there Ediburgh temple is.

Somewhere near Edinburgh, I presume?

I can relate. I often edit and repost four times or so to get the spelling and/or grammar correct in a sentence.

WHY are errors never visible until posted, and then only the next day???
