My wife woke me up with a rendition of REM's "It's the End of the Word" this morning.

Kind of sad, really, that people can be so delusional - when this happened back in the 1840s, there was at least one suicide and many, many people were financially destroyed. Mulitiply that by the increase in population (who believe) and the power of the media and this could be pretty bad. I wouldn't be suprised if some wingnut took out Camping, either - he should probably spend some of his millions on extra security.
