Artist calls himself "Ransom". Looks ugly here. Clickie on the image for something more palatable:

Heh, when I first saw your avatar, before this, I thought it was Michael Jackson.

When I first saw your avatar, I thought it was a photograph. (And not one of MJ.)

Well, that's certainly a compliment to the artist.

Oh, yes, I thought that too. But a photo of Michael Jackson. I'm sorry.

Who is Kevin Michaels? I did a Google Image Search and no one I found looks like that.

He's an RPG character I made.

Ah, okay, I did miss that. I get it now.

Background? Urban youth, feelings of being an outcast?

Simple, but good 'nuff. On a scale of 10 solar temperatures to absolute zero, I'd say that you're about mid-way.

I think I'll give others more of a chance to view it and respond before I reveal any real information. :)

True enough, but still lacking, and ignoring the other two questions.

Tsk. How pathetic. I expected more from this forum.

Oh, I thought we'd build on it bit by bit. I'm not good at games like this.

I would say he's fashion conscience without being burdened by technicalities.

Fair enough. I'm just playing around anyways.

Hah!

That's a good one, actually...

And true enough. :)

Also, he likes really tight jeans, which suggests hints of Billthompsonism.

1) Lots of people like tight jeans, and to associate tight jeans with Bill Thompson is insulting to tight jeans everywhere.

2) Those jeans are not that tight.

3) C'mon, man. Bill Thompson? That ain't funny.

I don't mind you not taking this seriously, but c'mon. I mean it when I want people to guess.

Ummm, he likes guns? I didn't miss the last line of your first post, it's just that I'm no good at this either. But, I'll try....

He escaped from an evil captor and now makes a living in the jungles of Thailand bringing poachers to justice.

But actually, his parents left him at a young age and he lived off the street. A run in with the cops as a teenager left him with a new sense of direction and now he is a vigalante fighter of truth, justice, and the American way!

He likes good chinese take out and that cute neighbor girl across the hall in his apartment complex.

He lives in NYC and is thankful for that warm, spiffy jacket.

Well, he DOES like guns, that's true. And explosives, too; but there's no hints for that.

(emphasis mine).

Baloney. You're decent at it.

That was pretty good, actually... not close to the truth, but that's what makes it funny. One thing you ARE close on, though: He's good at vigilante-ism.

Wow, this couldn't be more wrong. That's practically the opposite! :o

I'll correct one thing: He doesn't live in NYC, he actually lives around California.

Location: California.
Likes: Guns
Dislikes: Authority figures.

--Is good at vigilantism.

We're on a start here, people! This is fun.

I thought it was a drawing of Neil Young. The firearm was a bit of an anomaly.

Sheesh!

Why does everyone assume that it has to be a drawing of a celebrity? Aye carumba!

Man, why is it that my threads always die out so soon? Can't you all see my greatness?

Okay, so if he doesn't like chinese, then he likes thai food.

And if it isn't the girl across the hall, it's the guy across the hall.

Okay, so he's an ex cop who saw way too many corruptions in the system and is working on fixing them. Kinda like Bruce Willis in Sin City. Now he's out knifing the bad-cops.

He's a crack addict on the side.

He's left handed and he walks or hikes a lot, probably in a rural/sparsely populated area where he won't get the fuzz called on him. He's probably not in the desert, however, because he isn't wearing a hat and his hair's too long to make long hikes comfortable. His rifle looks like one of Browning's because of the vaguely triangular forearm and that groove in the side, possibly a BAR Shorttrac or Longtrac, both of which come in left handed models; his has iron sights on it. And he looks as I imagined that guy from The Road Virus short story by Stephen King.

Mmmh, close enough. He does hate bad authority figures.

He's a crack addict on the side.

Close! He loves amphetamines. Dextroamphetamines and methamphetamines, mainly.

Considering the image, he would have to use his left hand to draw his pistol, so I see this assumption.

Hm. He is now left handed. Just 'cause it's fun to make a character that doesn't fit the norm.

Oh hell yeah! Dead spot on here! He uses motorcycles from time to time, but he mainly walks. Partly out of necessity.

Redneck gets +5 points.

He's probably not in the desert, however, because he isn't wearing a hat and his hair's too long to make long hikes comfortable.

On the contrary, his long hair tends to protect his face.

Though you could also assume that the creator hasn't lived in the desert, so he doesn't know enough :p

Sounds like cool stuff.

The rifle's a bolt action, that's all I know about it. I just told the artist to give him a bolt action rifle.

But I think you just made the rifle.

Only reason I made it a "celebrity" was that to me it LOOKED like Neil Young. I can't speak for "everyone" else, I thought it was just me.

Young always has that furrowed brow look to him.
