F-35s delivered again

After an F-35 crash on landing in Texas back in December, the recent model of the aeroplane was grounded.

It's now being delivered again.

The aeroplane was on what looked like a normal vertical landing, when it suddenly put the nose into the ground and began to spin. The pilot ejected - I didn't know one could eject when the aeroplane was on the ground.

Here is an excerpt from the article.

The pilot, an Air Force major who had been doing performance quality checks on behalf of the Defense Contract Management Agency, was released from the hospital shortly after the crash and suffered only minor injuries.

I'm guessing the performance quality check did not go so well.

Conversely, it could also have gone more badly!

Rookie pilot probably still struggling with new tech. Seems improbable that a $412b aeroplane would be faulty

:rpoop
A bus station is where a bus stops. A train station is where a train stops. On my desk, I have a work station.

If you are seeing an apparent paradox, that means you are missing something.
