Radiation

Postby Enzo » Wed Dec 13, 2006 6:54 am

I am a little confused.

We got the Russians apparently killing each other with radioactive stuff. But the officials come on Tv and assure us there is no danger because paper or even our clothing will block the radiation, and to be lethal we'd need to injest it anyway.

Now they are finding traces of it in airplanes, hotel rooms, restaurants, and who knows where all.

My confusion is over this: If paper, cloth, rocks, or scissors blocks this radiation, then how does it come to be still on everything these folks touched?

And these folks are doing quite a lot of added business lately:

The Polonium 210 is presently coating most of London; the radiation it gives off is very short range and is relatively harmless. It has a short half life so just hold your breath and don't eat anything for 6 months and you'll be fine. :D

Present theory is that he may have poisoned himself by accident while transporting the stuff.

The truth is that the dude wa not murdered at all. You see, most of Europe has been coated with this substance since the Cold War so that migration patterns could be tracked.

The spy dude was just suffering from a rare mental condition called compulsive consuption ot something similar to that. Basically, he was going around Europe licking things.

He died of pica!
"Mars" is also a chocolate bar found on Earth. These are highly concentrated sources of carbohydrates, which are of vital importance to many carbon based life forms. Mars bars are slightly rippled with a flat underside. They are sometimes used in English courtship rituals in which the female performs various allegorical oral acts with the chocolate bar, which is donated by the male as part payment for this spectacle.

Hmm. If he is doing this knowingly, then he certainly would have known what happened when his throat swelled up and his hair fell out. Would he have told the doctors? Could they have done anything?
They call me Mr Celsius!

He could bring it up at his church, though he might then face a critical mass...
