RIP Jerry Reed

Geez, they're dropping like flies.

SInger, songwriter, movie star.

Jerry, Amos Moses will miss you.

I liked Jerry Reed a lot, good sense of humor in his music.

You might know him as the side kick in SMokey and the Bandit, the guy driving the semi truck. I have to admit that movie is a guilty pleasure of mine.

In the Song Writers Hall of Fame.

That would be a very guilty pleasure indeed, Enzo.

Jerry Reed was also a monster guitar player and just a general all-around kind of guy. Even did voice work on Scooby Doo!

Jerry Reed was great. I remember him being in Smokey and the Bandit, but I'll always remember him for the way his voice and his band came together in his songs to create so much hilarity. She Got the Goldmine (I Got the Shaft), When You're Hot You're Hot, The Bird, Lord Mr. Ford...
