I just love this stuff. One of my favorite bits on the Stewart show is having people contradicting themselves.

To me, she's a wingnut. One of those cheerleader-types, not too bright, but tenacious enough and just pretty enough to appeal to both men and women (who don't want to be threatened by good looks) to get where she wants to go, when someone else tells her where she should be.

I could honestly live with either McCain or Obama in office, but her background in ultra-right Christian ideology scares the crap outta me. That, and her record of doing one thing and then claiming to have done the other. That's pretty typical of our politicians, but she's taking it to Larry Craig levels.

Here's a couple of links:

Good, because you're getting one of them :)

That is usually fatal when I decide how to vote. I would also normally not assign much weight to the vice-president, but given that her presidential candidate is 72 with a history of cancer, I'd say the chances of her becoming president are higher than for most vice-presidential candidates...

Amen, Brother. Err, I mean, Right on, Dude.

If you wonder why Canadians take interest in US politics, realize that we are the beaver lying next to the elephant*. If it rolls the wrong way, more than our tail gets flattened.

* I feel obliged to give equal mention to donkeys.

So, you've got one of these election things coming up your way, too, eh?

Yes. In fact, when I heard you were in Montreal, I wondered whether you might have been involved in advising one of the parties running on the economics of the Liberals proposed "Carbon Tax."

I realize you can not say. But if this is true, scratch the right side of your nose.

So. 8)

ETA: I thought this was preposterous/hilarious, but then realized it WAS technologically possible using a webcam. {sigh}.

Disclaimer: no webcams were used during these communications.

I wasn't in Montreal - I was in Alberta.

I don't do that sort of thing. I have an economics background, but I'm mainly a math/stats kind of guy these days...

But if he told you that, he'd have to kill you.

Um... I can't get the link to work now.

Did anyone get it to show the video of Karl Rove contradicting himself - along with others?

Here is another way in in case.

The point of my post was not actually Palin, but the self-contradictory right wing pundits. Not that Palin won't be a goldmine of material.
