Tom Brokaw had stepped down as well.

All three of the major network anchors have changed this year. Welcome to a new world.

I like Dan Abrams to take over a spot. There's another guy I really like, but I can't think of his name. He is young with graying hair. He used to be on World News.

Nothing against Peter Jennings, but these guys all look the same to me. I can't keep them straight...

I liked Peter Jennings well enough, but I will be way more depressed when Tom Brokaw dies.

I can remember Jennings, Rather, and Brokaw going back to the 1980s when I lived in California. The world just keeps on changing... *sigh*

I grew up watching the space program as presented by Frank Reynolds and Jules Bergmann. When Frank Reynolds died and Peter Jennings replaced him, he become my portal to the rest of the world.

With him gone, now I only have GLP to rely on. Oh woe is me...
