UK Riots

Postby tubeswell » Fri Aug 12, 2011 2:03 am

A bus station is where a bus stops. A train station is where a train stops. On my desk, I have a work station.

If you are seeing an apparent paradox, that means you are missing something.

That would be "English Riots".

Nothing up here, our police are a bit less laissez faire about these things.

Ahmadinejad should use Hypocrite for his middle name.

I'm glad you posted this, it got me to click on the link :P

Can't find a middle name for him.

Say, you know what street the UK embassy in Tehran was on, until they moved the entrance around to the other side?
They call me Mr Celsius!

They moved the entrance around the other side so the name wouldn't have to appear on the embassy letterhead.

Damn right! I was extremely annoyed at all the coverage referring to UK riots, or "the streets of Britain". Riots in Norn Iron are "Northern Irish riots", not "UK riots". Sectarianism is "Scotland's shame", not "UK shame", etc...

Still really annoyed!
