More Gadhafi

Postby Мастер » Sat Aug 13, 2011 7:51 am

Man, this guy can hang on.

Here is an article about what needs to be done to prepare for a post-Gadhafi Libya.

http://globalpublicsquare.blogs.cnn.com ... ?hpt=hp_t1

I particularly like this comment.

Former regime elements may seek to defend themselves and to “privatize” state assets.

That's a nice way to put it :P

I kind of hope he survives the battle - I'd love to see him rant and rave a bit more before they hang him.
Is there such a thing?

I thought we were going in there to protect civilians, not to help out with yet another regime change.

Dictatorial rule replaced by mob rule Or the Mullahs.

I hope not.

They found Mohammed Qaddafi's (Son of the Leader of the Revolution #1) passport.
Apparently the official latinisation is Gathafi.

Fine, it's a bad day to be named القَذَّافِي. That's unambiguous.

Of course, it's a different day now.

Flipsides of the same coin.

Reports are that the frizz head has been captured.

We'll find out if they're true . . .

And other unconfirmed reports are that the frizz head is dead.

Of course, the two reports are not incompatible.

From the new Wikipedia page on Frizz Head's death:

Wikipedia wrote:During his capture, Gaddafi reportedly shouted "Don't shoot!" prior to being shot.

Another report I read said his last words were: "What'd I ever do to you?"
Dictators just don't get it.

Just the other day, I was looking at pictures of his Amazon bodyguard's. Lot of good looking girls, and that's what most of them looked like, young girls who should be giggling and having pillow fights, instead of guarding a brutal thug. I wonder what happened to them? All the pictures today of dead troops look like males.

Naw. In his unseemly panic, he forgot to say, "Gadaffi says" don't shoot.

Rules are rules.

One of them died in an assassination attempt years ago, I think.

Not sure what happened, but my guess is, if he didn't want people to know where he was, having them hanging around wasn't a good idea . . .

Maybe if he had been wearing one of his crazy outfits, they would have listened. First time he ever dressed like a normal person, he gets killed.
