I grew up loving him, and his Jeannie.

I only knew him as JR, I didn't come across Jeannie (in a manner of speaking) until much later.

The few times I saw him interviewed he always seemed like a nice guy.

I remember being mildly shocked when I heard he would be in the Dallas remake, as the more recent pictures I had seen him in, he did not look well.

At any rate, it is sad to see him go.
