The Prime Minister he deposed was up on charges of hijacking. He was convicted, but won on appeal.

Currently in hospital with heart problems which cropped up on the way to his trial. I used to laugh everytime he was on the news in his uniform. It had a name badge, just in case you confused him with all the other generals with moustaches.

It is one thing to be a high heid yin and get all the medals but you occasionally see photos of old guys in the former Soviet Union with chestfuls of medals that they got the hard way.

Maybe it was, in which case he should have worn it upside down . . .

So maybe Musharaf's heart problems were from lead poisoning from the gold-plated gongs?
