Robin Williams found dead of apparent suicide. 63 years old.

I guess that will end the steam of consciousness...

What a sad moment. He was a wonderful comedian, and, as I suspect is the case with all of them, a deep sadness was inextricably woven into his hunorous play. They reported here that he suffered from depression and that his death is suspected to be suicidal. To me that would be all the sadder, but I wouldn't be surprised.

I was never much of a fan of his comedy but he was a very good dramatic actor. He was stunning in an episode of Homicide: life on the street as a bereaved husband.
Get it up ye.

Same here, I never really found him to be funny. He was a good actor though, although he was also in a lot of shite. Sad end to a life that made so many people happy though.

Didn't much care for his comedy either; preferred the more serious work.
