Eegah! RIP Richard Kiel

I saw this a few weeks ago, and made a mental note to post the news here if anyone else hadn't already done so, which causes me to make yet another mental note: write down mental notes to self so you do not forget them. Thankfully, Lance referred us to a Twighlight Zone episode featuring the gentle giant actor!

7' 2" Richard Kiel, who played many thuggish giants for many years, but perhaps most famously as the Bond henchman Jaws, passed away this past September 10th, just 3 days shy of his 75th birthday. My favorite Kiel character, though, is of Eegah, in the wonderfully campy movie of the same name, and delightfully panned on Mystery Science Theater 3000.

Rest in peace, Mr. Kiel.
