Oh really? I thought we were closer to the same age. I started K in '62.
I'm pretty sure we had a morning prayer and I definitely recall an assignment where we had to list which things god created on which days in the 6 days of creation. I don't recall what grade that was but we learned all about Noah and Moses and ... And this was a public school.
