He came here, said Theresa May wouldn't listen to him and Boris Johnson would make a great Prime Minister, then went on to Helsinki, said what a great guy Putin was and how he (Putin) had said very clearly that he hadn't interfered in the US elections and how the US-Russian relationship had been restored. But then Putin wouldn't tolerate 200,000 odd marching through Moscow expressing disapproval of one of his guests - and we kind of knew that's how Trump likes it. (Remember the "don't you just want to punch him in the face"?) Still, take heart: the mid-terms are only a few months away now and Trump's re-election campaign starts barely a year after that.
