I don't use the A word online, even in jest. The NSA has word filters looking for certain words to focus additional attention. So I never make bomb jokes at an airport, and I never talk of early retirement of a president. MAybe I am paranoid, but the government has demonstrated its reach in the past. Even though it could easily be determined I am no physical threat to any public figure, I don't need any attention from them either.

The nice NPS has already tweeted an apology for the "mistaken" tweets. How very PC of them. The FB arguments are pivoting from "conservatives are employed, liberals aren't" to "Obama bused in tens of thousands of east coast liberals, while conservatives were left to their own means." Asshole wouldn't even bus in his own supporters.

I like how the media has been handling it though. They're not even discussing how many people did or didn't show up. They're talking about why the administration is willing to blatantly lie about it. And not even IF they did, just WHY they did.

At some point in history, a pre or proto human learned to make fire and it culminated with Trump getting elected president. So yeah, let's not do that.

Yeah. He enjoyed his golden showers so much now he's showering all of us.

So, apparently, a former employee of the Badlands National Park got onto the Badlands twitter account and tweeted a few science tidbits concerning the environment. Unfortunately, park officials deleted the tweets, even without any prompting from Washington. In the meantime, the number of followers of the account jumped from around 7,000 to almost 70,000.

This is a scary new world in which we find ourselves.
