Oh, he was great as a film villain. I remember him in two flavours, fake nice diabolic and sleazy greasy. He could do those excellently.

I most remember him playing Rev. Jim Jones. He could do scarey really well, almost as well as Christopher Walken, John Malkovich and Alan Richman.
