For maybe the past 15 years or so Canada has replaced the U.S. as the country I'd aspire to emigrate to if things went South here. That, or NZ. So yeah, congrats, and to the next 150 years. May you win the Stanley Cup in every one of them.

You didn't cite the independent country of Scotland as one of the places to which you would like to move.

Thanks Heid! I went to a nearby town to see a couple local musicians I know and their bands.
One of which, 'lakes and pines' impressed me quite a bit, I think I'll go buy their new cd.
As far as emigrating, I've heard NZ is quite tough to get into, even for those from other commonwealth countries. Tubeswell might know whether this is the case. I've heard it's the best place for motorcycles in the world so it's high on my list.
But we all know who has the best whiskey, so I'll put in a vote for Scotland as well.
