Loki, gone at 15. Some very special people will miss you a lot.

Loki wasn't mine. He belonged to another member here.

Well, it is still sad. Cats have a way of becoming important, at least in my life.

Oh, no doubt. I always had cats before Cyndi and I got together and some were very, very special.

Being the God of Fire, Loki will choose another flame to live in. Judging from the photo, he chose his last abode well.

15 is pretty good, though. May the sun always shine on him, and may he finally catch the infernal laser dot.

Thanks for posting, Lance. Loki was our kitty buddy and we miss him terribly. Telling the kids, even at 18 and 15, was an experience I have no desire to repeat. Our eldest chose him as a few weeks old kitten from a rescue centre and he was Loki’s favourite person, by miles. Loki doted on him, as much as it’s possible for a cat to do for a mere human. Our youngest grew up with him, and has never known life without him by his side.

RIP Loki.
