Didn't realise how old he was

Bit of a late bloomer.
Had his first screen-roll age 25 in Paul Verhoeven's TV-show Floris (1969), later remade in Germany with him repeating the role, and was 37 for his international breakthrough opposite Sly Stallone in Nighthawks (1981).
