RIP Dawn Wells

A sad day to end the year. One of the most asked questions in the tavern is "Ginger or MAryAnn?"

Star of GIlligan's Island, dead of COVID at 82.

As to the question, I was always more into MAry Ann than into GInger.

Likewise. Ginger just seemed too high maintenance.
This leaves Tina Louise as the only remaining member of the original cast.

The show was before my time, and I mostly missed out on the never-ending re-runs on channels like Nickelodeon here in the U.S.

It was possibly not the most cerebral of shows.

And it spawned the "Wayne and Garth" complaint, what's up with the professor? He can make a radio out of a coconut, but he can't fix a hole in a boat.
