You aren't so stressed out. Your coma is very relaxing.

I wish they would finish building the building across the street.

You flip a coin. But you feel bad about deciding in such a flippant manner.

I wish I had a better Halloween costume idea.

You do. But in retrospect, a perfect likeness of Osama Bin Laden trick-or-treating at the White House gate was not such a good idea {damn, those Hellfire missles sting ...}

I wish I could think it instead of type it

(Freaky considering what I just posted in the "Post about the person who posted last" thread. )

You can go out to dinner, but it's a fancy French restaurant, and the snooty waiter spends all evening being stereotypically rude to you.

I wish it were Thanksgiving already.

I wish the economy would turn around already.

You don't. Instead, the teacher writes an apology letter to you. For expelling you. :P

They are, and people *still* drive/fly them while talking on cell phones, eating, and putting on makeup.

I wish I had more leave time so I could take vacation right now.

Squee is laid off due to the poor economy, and now has plenty of free time to hang out.

I wish I could think of Christmas gift ideas for the family.

You think of the perfect gifts, all extravagantly expensive.

I wish I was all caught up on my work.

When you are, a glum-looking middle manager hands you your pink slip and asks for the desk key.

He does--because he's growing up Too Fast.

I wish popcorn didn't smell so awful once you're done eating all you want.

I wish pmcolt had some popcorn that wasn't burnt.

He does, but when he eats it, the kernels get caught in his teeth. He has to go to the dentist.

I wish pmcolt's dentist wasn't an understudy for that guy from "Little Shop of Horrors."

He isn't. My dentist is just a regular dentist. Though how normal can you be when you work in a little office, maintaining tools that look like implements of torture, shining bright lights in people's faces, and making cheerful conversation while you have your entire hand stuck inside someone's mouth?

I wish I would actually keep my New Year's resolutions.

You do. You are living in Canada. They hand you a snow shovel at immigration.

I wish Arneb was here to shovel my driveway.

I wish KLA2 was here to shovel snow in front of OUR little house...
