I was referring to the dichotomy between attributing your deterministic motivation to your thinking (mind) versus attributing your motivation to your biology. Of course you may argue there is no difference, or you may argue that there is.

The lowest common denomination of the currency here is larger than the lowest common denomination of the prices of things, so rounding is required when paying cash.

When paying by credit card, there is no rounding. Furthermore, there is often a substantial discount.
