Yes it's got to be the pertinent question to be fair, so it goes to Arneb. (I didn't get back to the Llama board in time to see Mactep's response to my line of enquiry)

11 blocks from the Dakota - was it John Lennon? (North-south blocks in Manhattan are really short.)

one more location

There are scenes in and around the original World Trade Center, too.

Was discussed here before. Chilling espionage flick dominated by a great American actor.

A great American actor, who was also in the previous film?

And it also featured someone who had a French accent, from the part of France that is east of Aachen?

There is no part of France due East of Aachen except a small strip near Calais. But I see what you mean, and the answer is yes to both.

You have to go a long way east to get to Calais. :D Having googled, and thus ruled myself out, is he not actually from Scandewegia?

#-o #-o #-o ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)

The film character is from Alsace, which actually IS East of Aachen (and to the South)

While we wait for Mactep to return and say "Three Days of the Condor" let's have a placeholder: a film with a strong NYC connection and many scenes there, but one scene here.

Not Bond.

Another clue. Much, much more of the film is in this area than at that mosque. On checking, it might not have been clear that the first location is a mosque.

I suppose if you don't know what a mosque looks like.

The first local mosque I saw in NZ was in the 1990s - it was quite modern and had been built with a turret/minaret. Caused quite a stir amongst the trashy xenophobic locals when it was first built. But that was yesteryear's controversy - there's quite a few mosques in these here parts nowadays.

Does that mean the winner has to correctly identify both clues at the same time or forfeit the winners podium?

Or that Mactep will give us one clue first (which doesn't beget a winner) and then the 1st person to correctly identify the 2nd clue wins? (or vice versa?)
