In my hands I hold a candle whose flame is small to see, And if I give but one light to you my life is filled for me.
But...In your hands you hold a torch for many eyes to see, So hold it high that they may light their candlewicks from thee.

ROFL!

Hey, what month is everyone born in?

I find, for whatever reason that less people are born in November then any month, all through grade school I was the only one who had a birthday in November...strange.

Can I get one of the champion steaks Lance? Rare please?

I'm sorry but I'm not doing steaks this time. We're having a lot of people over so I'm just doing burgers. I was going to do hot dogs too, but since there will be ketchup present, for the burgers, I didn't want anyone getting any bright ideas so I decided against them.

What do you want on your burgers?

The choices include:
ketchup (Heinz 75)
mayo (Hellman's "bring out the best")
mustard (Plotchman's - recommended by the Hot Dog Manufacturers Association of America)
ranch dressing (Hidden Valley - lite)

tomato (thinly sliced)
onions (coarsely chopped)
pickles (sliced, dill)
lettuce (shredded, iceberg)

Cheeses: (all cheeses are from the deli, none of that that pre-wrapped crap)
American
Swiss
Mozerlla
Cheddar (mild)
Pepper Jack

teri tait wrote:Swiss and Ranch, please!!!

Okay, done. Why are you shaking?

umop ap!sdn wrote:True enough I guess... but does the IPU less than three the FSM??

Well, I can't speak for IPU but I know FSM loves all his creations, mythical or not.

Are you coming to the barbecue? What do you want on your burger?

Yeah, DS, remember I sent you to the post office with that huge mail bin of invitations? Its an annual A list event, attending Lances 4th of July celebration. All the Hollywood stars, goverment officials, and heads of state! Not to mention the funbunnies from Playboy Mansion and all the rock stars!!
Yeah, they all eat their own weight in food. You could go broke feeding the rock stars alone. (Of course the funbunnies hurl it right back up to keep their figures)

No, you answered my question on what to bring. Now I need to know where to look. :P

Are you coming to the barbecue? What do you want on your burger?

I don't normally eat burgers. And since this is the 4th of July the only correct answer is American cheese - except I don't like American cheese.

How bout if I bring for myself a piece of chicken breast?

Dragon Star wrote:Hey, what month is everyone born in?

The one that ends in a Y. Oh right, more than one month ends in Y. #-o Okay then, the one that starts with M.

Oh sorry. Well, while you're here for the barbecue you can check the castle. We have some pretty weird stiff happening around here all this time. You can borrow the dragon for protection if you like.

Oh, no need. I've got some chicken I was going to throw on the grill too. I just wasn't going to advertise it. Don't worry, I've got you covered.

Some time when you're over for a beer though, you really need to let me cook a steak for you. I really think you'll like one that's prepared right.

I don't like beer either. :P Although I had a dream once where I found a beer that I liked (it was real sweet - go figure) but then something happened and I couldn't drink it anymore. Strange dreams.

That's the Corrupt-A-Wish game. This is the wrong thread.

umop ap!sdn wrote:Now if you happen to have tequila and limeade, then I'm ready to partay!

Hey, that's my Margarita recipe. In a large pitcher blender:
12 oz. tequila
4 oz. triple sec
1 12 oz. can of Minutemaid Limeade frozen concentrate
Fill with ice
Blend until smooth. Oh SO yummy! There was a time when I was famous for these. I actually had the bartender at the Hyatt in Lisle, IL making them this way.

Yeah, we'll be serving those too.

So, Dragon, after we eat, will you take umop through the castle to some of the "weird" places? She's looking for ghosts and I told her we have our fair share right here. And I'll place no restrictions on you about getting "fresh" either. It's up to umop. Oh, and I would appreciate it if we could avoid another "paint removal" incident. Your flames are not the proper tool for providing illumination inside, in small corridors.

Heh heh, hi there teri. How's it going? Can you help me cook for a while. I need to get started on the margaritas. And I'm running low on grapes again. Do you know where I put the new bag of flavored wood chips for the grill? This bag is almost empty. Which flavor do you prefer?

Look, it wasn't my fault that the fresh paint was flammable! But sure, I will use a tortch...

If you would umop... *bends down to let umop on* The entrance to the staircase is on the other side of the grounds, quite a long walk indeed.

Ooooh grisly deaths! Guess we're eating good tonght.

So we have steaks, chicken, margaritas, daiquiris, murder victims... we should make a list of this stuff.

*gets on DS's back*

Why thank you, kind dragon! :D

I don't know if a torch is a good idea. Open flames, you see, and paint... maybe a fishtank full of photoblepharon? They're saltwater fish, so make sure to add salt to the list of foods to pick up at the thingy where you buy food.

Off to the dungeon to look for spooks!

*Flies around the castle to the staircase, coming to a stop*

We have arrived

*extends a wing for umop to walk down*

Right this way *pointing to the open corridor*

Watch for cave spiders, they grow quite large down here...strangely enough because there is nothing to eat down here...at least that I know of. *sound of crows in the background*
