Bewildered.

(None of that kind. In 1986, I climbed Lykavetos hill in Athens with a friend when someone asked if he could take a photo of us. We agreed; he pretended to take a photo but in reality just operaterd some switch on his camera to give the impression of click-clack. Then he said, 600 drachmas please. Dumbfounded, we paid. After which he motioned us into our portrait position again and shot the real photo. Two months later, a photo of two very bewildered-looking boys arrived at my home in Germany. The reason I associate this memory with "impostor" is that when he had finished with us he proceeded to do the same stundt on an elderly British couple. I interjected, "don't do it, he is an impostor" and thus cost him two customers. Late, I was mighty proud that I had thought of the word "impostor" in this stresdsful situation. At 17, my English wasn't very reliable yet. So there. )
