GAME: Assassins Round 2 Signup Thread

Same rules as before, except deceased players will become Designated Decoys, and [strike]I'm tempted to change[/strike] I'm changing the posting frequency rule to [strike]once a day[/strike] once every 2 days instead of once every few days. I'll plan on starting the game Saturday. Suggestions/comments are always welcome. :D

It would be a pain but, couldn't you just split the circle and slide her in?
Generate the game with her in it, then have her assassin go after her target with her kill-words. When she later joins, give her the previously chosen assignment and tell her assassin of the new target. The only knowledge that anyone might gain is hippie's assassin knowing who her target is once she joins.

Well, don't start late on account of me, but don't completely count me out. I'm digging around for a free WiFi connection down in Indy. There's a cafe about 7 blocks from the hotel that has it, but I'm trying to find something closer.
I'll give you a definate answer on me being in or not on Friday...

I suppose I can include you either way, but if the number of players should reach a certain threshhold before you get back, I'd have to apply the posting frequency rule. (Can't say how many players or your assassin would know a critical piece of game information.)
Edit to add: Or, I could do what I did for a player in a game on another board, when he had to go away for an indefinite amount of time: suspend the posting frequency rule and assign no new words until the game can be resumed.
Speaking of which, is anyone opposed to me reducing the posting frequency rule to one day? How about 2 days?

I'll play again.
The posting frequency should be 2 days because not everyone can get on their computer every day. If it was 1 day posting frequency I would be out of the game pretty fast.

There will be a point when Joffan becomes an Assassin Laureate or Assassin Emeritus or something that I haven't thought of yet, and the associated rank and avatar will change.

I'd say that going by dictionary definitions, he's a Laureate now but if he's playing in round 2 then he's not retired and therefore not an Emeritus. :D

Ok, I'm gonna try to play! It turns out almost all of downtown Indy has free WiFi and I found a cafe about a block away that sells Pepsi products and has free internect access for customers, if I can't get signal from the hotel.
Just as a note, I leave Sunday morning (early), so I'll probably get time to find free connection and post then. If I don't post back by Tuesday, I will consider myself dead because if you don't move in war, you tend to get riddled with bullet holes. :)
