You know, he did grope me in the movie theater once. I'll let him explain that one.

KOS why are you so concerned about proper behavior when the ground moves? Are you somewhere where that is likely to happen?

Ok, at the movie theater. I was sitting next to the wall and Dom. Everyone that sits at the lunchtable was there, so this was a get-together of friends. Anyways the movie was benchwarmers, and the car from Night Rider was in the movie, so natrually i was excited about this and went to hit Dom in the arm but she moved her arm to hit Moosedoom in the arm(or Katie?) so I ended up hit her boob.

But did you like it?

And did she jump, or just kind of purr?

I can't imagine that being punched in the boob would cause a woman to purr.

How many people been in a tornado? Those are way scarier than earthquakes

I was thinking it must be exciting; ground shaking, buildings moving. Scary of course, but provided it's not ripping the landscape apart and killing everyone, a moment to remember. Your mother's broken leg sounds like it has a story behind it...

Are you a tornado survivor as well?

Nighthawk wrote:When I lived in Kentucky my family ran a marina on the Ohio River. There was a fairly large earthquake but I didn't feel it. I was on a boat at the time. The only thing I saw was a couple large, rolling waves that went across the lake. Kinda cool

Yeah - kinda like that. Actually the marina sounds really interesting. I enjoy boats, sailing especially although I'm not particularly good at it. We're lucky enough here that the city programs on the reservoir are excellent. What sort of jobs did you do there?

Actually, no. So when I travel to a place where it is a problem, I'm not familiar with the proper procedures.

^^^ Well, it might've been a gentle punch. More like a love tap.

We don't get many earthquakes in NC either. Completely on the opposite side of the country.

By the time I would feel an earthquake here, it would be New Madrid and the world would be coming to an end.

Hey PM Colt, she could be "into" that sort of thing, too. She is rather odd, after all.

Hey Joffan, it was my mom's boss that broke her leg. She had to be rescued but I never asked her about it.

I've been in two floods, hurricane, tornado warning, severe thunderstorms, earthquakes, tsunami warning, hail, blizzards, and I saw a plane crash once. That's what comes from living all over the place as an air force brat, I guess.

Dom likes marinara...

I lick nine-volts fur fun, people. I still like electricity.

After Jimmy groped me he yelled "ahhh!" and held his hand away from him like he was on fire. Such amusement. He was very careful we he hit me later.

And about me liking it or not... That's for me to know and you creepy old people never to find out. :P

Creepy old people? Hey, I'm not old. I'm 'hip' to the 'lingo' of the youth culture. I tell you, I'm downright down with it. (So does that mean that our resident St. knows whether you liked it?)

Can't say I've been through much in the way of severe weather. Been through probably half a dozen hurricanes, but as far inland as I live, it's all just flooding, wind, downed trees, and power outages. Did have a "tornado" hit nearby in high school, but the weather folks decided to call it a microburst instead. I think an earthquake would be pretty creepy.

Thanks.

There isn't as much here that is original as you might think. If you have your own webspace somewhere that runs php, I can provide the dynamic avatar script for you. I cobbled it together from parts I got from a user at the phpBB site and some inspiration from umop.
