Yes they did. Fatty was a falling star as Buster's star became ascendant. Fatty was one of the first vaudevillians to make the transition to film.

I've been making this wonderful Cilantro Lyme rice lately. Am I at risk of catching Cilantro Disease?

Probably, but I'm not sure if it is carried by bugs, or by what kind...

Definatlly, Your best chance to not get it would be to go buy a radiation suit from your local woowoo store. I wouldn't touch that rice untill then.

I hope you were wearing plenty of protective tinfoil for making that Cilantro Lyme rice. Pretty powerful stuff.

I don't think I've seen a movie since King Kong, which I regarded as comedy. Great special effects but no understanding of ecology at all.

What? You mean a 40 foot tall ape isn't a necessary part of a realistic eco-system?

Is cilantro also known as coriander?

Anyway, everyone knows 40ft apes grow from seed pods, and reproduce asexually. Of course that's accurate. The T-Rex, though, was inaccurate. Was definitely the wrong colour.

I haven't seen the newest King Kong yet but remember seeing one of the many remakes that was done probably in the late 70's. I always wondered how King Kong go the girl off of the alter without ripping her arms and legs off :P

I mean, she was tied tight enough that she couldn't get away yet this 40ft ape just grabs her and yanks.

That would be about the same as being drawn and quartered right?

And, as the mind of an early teenager works.

The ape was in love with her right?

Would he have had to wrap her in duct tape to keep her from exploding if he decided to mate?

I believe cilantro is the leaf of the plant and coriander is the seed.

Over here in Europe it is all known as coriander. Lovely herb, almost as useful as basil.

For some reason I always get basil mixed up with bay leaves.

I remember visiting this side (the west) of the Atlantic maybe ten years ago and having a tomato and basil bagel for lunch. It took me a long time to buy it though - it wasn't until I stopped asking for "tomahto and bazzil" and asked instead for "tomaito and baizil" that I finally got to eat.

My kidneys aches. Damn, the Mean Streak is an awesome rollercoaster. I've gotta get to Cedar Point more often than just on Physics Day (which was neat, NASA fun-facts all over the park). The weather and God said I coudn't ride the Top-Thrill Dragster or Millenium Force, though.

Freaking HAIL!

Happily, I got on the Magnum XL- my favorite coaster- three times in a row. We pulled into the station, no one else was there, and they let us go again right away! I didn't even have to un-buckle the belt! Sweet.

I'm... not going to Cedar Point in mid-June. That place is expensive! I only have enough money to buy another ticket. That won't let me eat. And then I'd have to skip out on X3, which I won't do.

*sigh* I wish mom would pay me back some of the money she borrowed from my science fair fund (I'd have over $2000)...

That's harsh. I have to ride some of those when I visit the states. In England we don't have quite the same scale of coasters, although we did have the worlds highest (Big One, in Blackpool; now superseded) and the worlds 1st vertical (Oblivion, at Alton Towers). We also have what is in many ways the scariest rollercoaster on the planet. It is called the Mousetrap, also in Blackpool, and is the worlds oldest functioning rollercoaster. It isn't very high, long, or fast; but it has lots of 90" turns (not arcs, turns!) and IS MADE OF WOOD. 100 year old wood. You come off it bruised and shaking.
