I think the 48-hour rule is reasonable, although a lot of people fell foul of it. I think you could even strengthen it to require the posting of a certain amount, eg. 12 words, every time period. Naming no names.

I recognise that the umpire job is tough and I'd like to thank umop for her effort in these two games.

Yay! This was an awesome present to get upon return from that ACT. What's funny is I fell asleep between the English and Math portions of the test, and woke up five minutes into the Math segment! Ah! No, it's cool, because I filled in every answer with time to spare. :D Bring me a standardized test anyday, and it will cry in my presence.

So, I guess that Jimmy should step up and win a round of assassins, eh? Then the Joffan & Joffan guards would indeed have claim to their names. Jimmy was second in round one, though... Meh, we're all worthy!

Hey, umop, I may be interested in reffing the next round. I mean, I'm on here all the time anyway. I'll decide tomorrow or Monday, unless someone else really want's the position. I'll keep you posted (ha ha, posted. Forum. Pun.) on what I decide. :)

I really don't want to play next round so, I would be happy to ref, but because I am going to be leaving in 2 weeks, and will be gone for a week, so I think I'll let hippie do it. Because well, this round lasted 1 month! Maybe I'll ref round 4....

Yup, ok, I've decided to step up and take reffing duties on for round 3.

I'll start a sign up thread this Friday, just so we have a little bit of a break. Dragon Star said he wanted to play, and he might be back on by then.

In the mean time, I'll scrounge up some kill words for furture use...
