You know that all of your posts about snarks don't count right? Your not talking about the subject of ketchup anymore...just because you have ketchup in your post doesn't make it the subject.

And Dragons are real, but so few of us left...

OK, so your post isn't about ketchup either then, and therefore doesn't count.

And Dragons are real, but so few of us left...

Do all of them like ketchup?

Does ketchup in the little individual packages ever go bad?

I don't know. Ketchup is not terribly good when it comes in the little packets, so I'm not sure how we would tell if it went bad anyway

Is there a difference between ketchup and the ever popular catsup?

It's funny that you ask that, because I was wondering myself. I don't know. Does Heinz make ketchup or catsup? (Or maybe both?)

I'm not sure, I think Heinz makes the ketchup form of catsup.

Well, this discussion is totally retarded, so for now I am dropping out...I can feel my IQ points drooping with every post...

And no, not all Dragon's like ketchup.

Guess Dragon Star couldn't cut the mustard with all the ketchup talk :)

Another dragon bites the dust...

If I order something with ketchup in a restaurant, and they bring me catsup, should I send it back?

The real question is; Was it ever not bad?

I agree with your opinion on ketchup in packets, Llance (see my post above), but your post only contained nine words.

Wait, does that mean that we have the topic of anything about BAUT?

If so, BAUT is...um...cool, but your freedom is limited there. Although occasionally that is a good thing...

Yeah, any disscusion about BAUT. As long as BAUT has anything to do with your post, it counts.

I wonder which one had more influence, the BA or the UT part of the forum?

Very mixed feelings about BAUT. People seem to know about certain things, then turn into flaming woowoos as soon as the topic is outside their area of expertise. No knowledge, no awareness of the lack of knowledge, total contempt for anyone with knowledge.

Well, I can respect that...but I have learned a LOT from BAUT, in fact just about everything I know about Astronomy...

Which site is older, BA or UT? I didn't know about UT until the merger talks.

I like BAUT, it is a fun forum but some of the mods tend to over react.

What do you think ought to be done at BAUT to remedy that problem?

And I'm not trying to keep up. I just wanted to make the comment about ketchup.

Me either, but if the discussion is good I will chat about it.

Personally, BAUT is strict because it has to be in order for it to be as serious as it is designed to be. It is an Astronomy forum, and is not made to be a joke...it is a place of knowledge and learning for all ages, and I like it that way.

Well, I agree with that, provided we limit the scope of "knowledge and learning" to certain fields. But among the things I learned at BAUT is that scientists are rational thinkers, so any out-of-field rubbish they choose to utter automatically becomes rational, as soon as they say it...
