I saw clash of the titans yesterday. It was close enough to the original story...it wasn't exactly a movie I would buy or see again...zeus was strangely casted...there was no poseiden action or a mention to Andromeda offending aphrodite. - I absolutely loved that they put in athenas golden owl. Fucking epic. Story was eh. Could have been way more engaging...2 hours long...felt a lot shorter...it was one of those movies that spawned inside jokes...
E.g.
Morgan freeman as the voice of black pegasus
And
"He's not only part god and part man..."
(Friend I went with continued) ...he's also part bear
:D

I saw the opera diva Elena Baramova at the ALDI Market this afternoon.
With at least half of the cast of Aïda browsing the shelfs.

How weird is that?

Actually not that weird at all.
The local ALDI is right next to the stage entrance of the local theatre.
Seen it before.

You have an OFFICE? Is that the place from which you're running the world?

Office: all the undergrad astro students share an office. So about 12 of use, though about 5 are in there at any given time.

Maybe they were rehearsing the scene from Aïda where everyone goes grocery shopping. It it omitted in most performances, for the sake of brevity, but if you ever see the original unabridged performance, this scene is quite stirring.

I think they were mostly hunting for snacks.

We've been told not to wear clothing that would identify our employer out in public because some of us have been confronted and harassed about the current crisis in the gulf.
