The first time I ever noticed this stinging in my eyes, in Hawaii, I figured it must be an allergy to some kind of plant found there. But having now experienced it on multiple occasions in very widely separated places, I am not so sure.

My surf band, "The Surf Daddies" (a.k.a. "Gollum's Ring" or even sometimes "Doggone Mutha Daddies", which ever takes our fancy at the time) had a rehearsal today for a concert we have in Nov (which is early summer here), and the drummer got the time wrong, so when he finally arrived we were packing up.
