Liam Neeson is indeed the actor - now name the film!

Ah! Sorry!

Here's a gimme: Sam Raimi directed Neeson in this.

I associate Sam Raimi with "Armies of Darkness." (Or "The Evil Dead".)

And TA scores!

Yes, KLA2, Raimi is known for the Evil Dead series, but it was Darkman that was his "breakthrough" film. And, of course, there was that one film no one seems to talk about, Crime Wave. It's really ... well ... not worth talking about! When that flopped, he went on to remake Evil Dead as Evil Dead II and from there went on to Darkman, Army of Darkness and eventually Spiderman.

And the rest ... well ... He recently announced he's writing Evil Dead 4! Yeah, Baby! :)

Personally, I think a chicken is as good a reason for murder as a blonde, a mattress full of dollar bills or any of the customary, unimaginative reasons.

Hmm. I'm stumped. That sounds like it could come from almost any film.

Not Anatomy of a Murder. Not a Preminger at all. Think....Hitchcock.

"Rear Window?" (Blind guess, based on clues.)

Yes! A surprisingly good movie, considering it all takes place in one room.

Rope may be one of the Hitchcock films that went out of circulation for a while because of a legal dispute over the rights. But it is one of four Jimmy Stewart/Hitchcock films:

a) Rope (1948)
b) Rear Window (1954)
c) The Man who Knew Too Much (1956, the second version)
d) Vertigo (1958)

Errm, sorry. Thing is, I hardly know any films, let alone by heart, let alone the English original. We are all for dubbing foreign films, you know.

OK, this is googleable, so have some restraint:

"I do seem to remember a process where you people ask me questions and I give you answers, and then I ask you questions and you give me answers, and that's the way we find out things. I think I read that in a manual somewhere".

I recall one from the German dubbed version of the same film, which I like a lot more:

"Das mach' ich doch mit rechts!"
