Hmm, sounds a bit like "O Brother, where art Thou?"

Aaah, nice one. I cheated, so I won't solve. But that's a film I might watch if I come across it.

"The Way Back", which is based on the book 'The Long Walk' by Slavomir Rawitcz, which I read a couple of years ago.

I was looking forward to the movie for a couple of years, and it was probably a 6.5/10 rating in terms of the book IMO. The movie missed out some good stuff that was in the book (as they do), like when the key character was being interrogated before they shipped him to Siberia, and he was confined to a standing position for so long that he had to piss and shit in his pants etc , and the hectic train Journey to Siberia followed by the long walk to the Gulag which was the first few chapters of the book, and the end of the book where he was in the convalescent hospital in India furtively hiding food under his pillow etc.

(One for Arneb) "I don't want FOP Damn it..."

OK, I'll try without cheating - but what is FOP?

I'm pretty sure "I don't want FOP damn it" is from "O Brother Where Art Thou?". Especially as it was introduced as "One for Arneb", who had just guessed that for something else...

No idea, I can't stand the film. It's just a guess - I think I vaguely recall it. My guess was mostly prompted by the hint about Arneb!

Loved the film, even though I thought I would hate it. (E.g., I have never successfully made my way through any Faulkner - the voices I hear in my head while reading it, hurt my ears :()

But, is it the film?

I am registering it as my Official Guess.

EDITED UPDATE: By coincidence, I now notice that the line in question is included in an advert for the film on TV over here! Perhaps fate has forgiven my various trangressions.

Googled. If the next few words were included, I would have gotten it. But as they weren't, I didn't.

And Sarcasticus, "The Wizard of Oz" ... ghastly???
