You got it, St. Jimmy!

For those who don't remember, it is the scene in the space shuttle simulator where he lands using manual control after being told that would be impossible, because it is a flying brick on landing. 8)

^ Aw, TA. Movies can be all about fun and feeling good, an escape into the world of fantasy, not the way things really are. I know there is little reality in "Space Cowboys", but I sure did enjoy it.

I too shake my head every time I see the space shuttle portrayed as a flying tank, instead of the delicate "hollow eggshell" {crystal sphere?} that it really is.

I think it is OK to enjoy fantasy, as long as you do not confuse it with reality. :)

I have no problem with fantasy. I do have a problem with bad acting and worse writing.

Great movie, but I don't think that's quite right, BM, but perhaps my memory is faulty.

I think you might be thinking of "Funny, she didn't look Druish."

Yep!, you're right. "What knockers!" is a hint, without giving the movie away, as is "Back in the day when things were rotten/not only food but kings were rotten."

Know that one? It was a series, not a film. One of my favorites when I was a kid.

And yes, I did have a strange childhood, OK?

Not really seeking to win this, but the film from which I recall the line "What Knockers!" was "The Young Frankenstein." (Mel Brookes)

It appears you are referring to a TV series, however. :?

Oh, and sorry, Jimmy. The answer to yours is "Spaceballs." As MM_Dandy implied first. BM65, not sure what happened here, let St Jimmy sort it out. :?

Give KOS a cigar! Co-developed and written with Buck Henry, I believe.

And yes, Dandy nailed it (nothing implied there), but I knew it and didn't want to hit it again. The Young Frankenstein quote was a hint as to whom the film in question was by.

Yeah, I know ... I'm diggin' here, but it worked for me.

Give us one, Dandy!

Correct!

Just out of curiousity, did you watch the movie in English or German?
