I find it is always best to go up the Arsenal early on:

King's Cross to Highbury and Islington.

Looks a little too Rightpondian for me. Anyone up for a mindless game of 1000 Blank White cards?

(Seriously, I think I'm going to sit back and watch for awhile, too.)

Very well, I will invoke the Framlington Codicil, change lines and go to Stratford.

To avoid Knip I'll have to go to Waterloo.

Well you shouldn't have.

Euston Square and you are in rucksack.

Uuh-hu, you are getting close to MC... How about I don't like that and steer you away from it:

Ealing South

Still keeping Heid in my rucksack... :-

I'm going to lie down on the tracks...

Ealing South? A bold manoeuvre, but doomed to be finessed by Elephant And Castle...

Oval

As I'm coming out of rucksack, I claim my free line change:

Pimlico

Invalid move, as Oval is only on the Northern Line, so Pimlico is unreachable. Very poor.

I will say Mornington Crescent in 2.

As stated, I used my free line change for coming out of rucksack. Oval to Stockwell, change line to the Victoria Line, to Pimlico.

Not yet, man, not yet: That would have been possible (I know, the old wag the dog twice stratagem) only with Heid still in rucksack, which I ended with my move to Oval (by Second line change Commandment), and there is that free line change after it - never seen Urquhart win the 2004 championship against Cunnings and DeLaitre with that little smug move? (The tabulature is in Acta Morningtonia 46 (2005): 235-245, with a brilliant comment from our Elder statesman Trevor Rookman).

No, man, this isn't over just yet. I hope
Kings Cross St- Pancras
causes everyone else a bit of pain...

Nice move and closing in; but I can use Cholmondley's Contraction and return to Highbury & Islington.
