Assassins round 5 play thread

Postby umop ap!sdn » Sat Jan 13, 2007 6:16 am

I'm starting this play thread because, *looks up previous post* holy shit, 2 days short of 2 whole months!!!   into the game we've yet to have a death.

This thread is for game play for this round; the rule that says your target must be replying to you is suspended within this thread and this thread only. This means your kill word posted in this thread will eliminate you from the game (unless someone else typed it and it is in a quote block, same as in previous rounds). *Bang* posts and counterassassination attempts go here now.

Also, each player must post to this thread at least once every 72 hours or they will be eliminated. I no longer have an excuse to slack off on this one. Meanwhile, if anyone does manage to get their target to say their word elsewhere on the board in a direct reply, well I guess I'd honor that as a kill but I'm not holding my breath that it'll happen. :P ETA: fourth kill words are now in play.

Okay on with the game play - I'll get the conversation started:

---------------

So, really, what is mind know matter, and what is matter never mined? And does it really matter anyway?

Oh, hi teri, good to see you again. So tell me, how's that "condition" doing? Did you visit our Shaman about it yet? Is there anything in particular he told you to do?

He told me to wait for summer to do my spring cleaning. . . also he confirmed the dragon is really just an overgrown lizard.

Heh, wait until Summer? You usually wait until fall. Summer is getting to it early.

I'm within 10 feet of three shot guns and 3 feet of a pistol. No wonder this room scared Jimmy when my dad is in here. :D

I would have figured you to be closer to reference material.

No encyclopedia handy? A thesaurus, perhaps?

Those are just above my astronomy manuals and such on the shelves. They're also 3 feet away.

What's close to you?

This is a post. Posts are good. So are pots. Where would soups be without them?

From the front, anyway.

Is that right?

You are correct, and the reason I bring it up is that I got to control it this last weekend. There wasn't much to it, but it is a pretty neat concept that I was in control of it.
